January 2025: Adhyayanotsavam in Govinda Raja Swamy Temple

 

The 25-day Adhyayanotsavams in Sri Govindarajaswamy temple will be conducted from 28th January to 20th February.

Recitation of Divyaprabandha is an age-old custom in the temple every year on the occasion of Adhyayanotsava.  

As part of this, every night from 7.15pm to 8.15 pm, Sridevi and Bhudevi, along with Sri Govindarajaswamy, Senadhipati, and Alwars, are worshiped in the temple's Kalyanamandapam.  

Divyaprabandha is recited in their presence.  As part of the festival, Chinna Sattumora will be held on February 7, Pranaya Kalahotsavam on February 13 and Pedda Sattumora on February 17.

Mandala Kalam at Sabarimala

  Mandala kalam is celebrated in Sabarimala temple for 41 days. It is also known as Mandala Masam and it is the main pilgrimage of Sabarimala Temple. It  Begins on the first day of the ‘Vrishchikam’ Masam and ends on the eleventh day of the ‘Dhanu’ Masam as per the Malayalam calendar. In these days devotees from all corners of the world, throng the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple. Lord Ayyappa meditated at this place after killing the demon named ‘Mahishi’.   The online quota details of different formats of Darshan and accommodation for the month of September as follows. TTD will release the online quota of Srivari Arjitha Seva tickets for the month of September on June 18 at 10AM through its official website. Devotees can register online for the electronic dip for these seva tickets until 10 AM of June 20. Those selected in the lucky dip must complete payment by 12 noon between June 20 and 22 to confirm their tickets. Tickets for Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva will be available on June 21 at 10AM.
