March 2025: Pushpa Yagam at Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple on March 25

 

The annual Pushpayagam, a special floral offering ceremony, will take place at the Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple on March 25th. This event is both spiritual and beautiful, making it a favorite among devotees.

Event Schedule:

  • March 24 (6 PM to 8 PM): Ankurarpanam, a starting ritual, will be held.
  • March 25 (10 AM to 11 AM): The deities Sridevi, Bhudevi, and Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy will be given a sacred bath during the Snapana Tirumanjanam.
  • March 25 (Evening): The grand Pushpayagam will be performed with colorful flowers, creating a divine and peaceful atmosphere.

Importance of Pushpayagam:
This ritual is a way to say sorry for any mistakes made unknowingly during the big festival, Brahmotsavam. It is believed that by performing Pushpayagam, all sins are forgiven, and blessings are received.

To make space for this special event, other daily rituals like Svarnapushparchana and Nitya Kalyanotsavam have been canceled for March 25th by the temple authorities (TTD).

Mandala Kalam at Sabarimala

  Mandala kalam is celebrated in Sabarimala temple for 41 days. It is also known as Mandala Masam and it is the main pilgrimage of Sabarimala Temple. It  Begins on the first day of the ‘Vrishchikam’ Masam and ends on the eleventh day of the ‘Dhanu’ Masam as per the Malayalam calendar. In these days devotees from all corners of the world, throng the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple. Lord Ayyappa meditated at this place after killing the demon named ‘Mahishi’.   The online quota details of different formats of Darshan and accommodation for the month of September as follows. TTD will release the online quota of Srivari Arjitha Seva tickets for the month of September on June 18 at 10AM through its official website. Devotees can register online for the electronic dip for these seva tickets until 10 AM of June 20. Those selected in the lucky dip must complete payment by 12 noon between June 20 and 22 to confirm their tickets. Tickets for Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva will be available on June 21 at 10AM. The Virtual Sevas and their corresponding Darshan slots for the month of September will be released on June 21 at 3 PM. The Angapradakshinam tokens will be released on June 23 at 10 AM.
