April Special Festivals in Tiruchanoor

April brings a series of vibrant celebrations at the Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru Temple in Tiruchanoor and its associated sub-temples. Below is the schedule of the special festivals to look forward to:

Trichy Utsavam:
This event will be held on April 4, 11, 18, and 25 (every Friday) at 6:00 PM, offering devotees an opportunity to witness the divine procession of Amma varu.

Uttarashada Nakshatram Festival:
On April 21, at 6:45 PM, Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru will grace the Gaja Vahanam, symbolizing strength and victory.

Sri Krishna Swamy Utsavam:
Celebrated on April 3 and 30, during the Rohini Nakshatra, Trichy Utsavam for Sri Krishna Swamy will commence at 6:00 PM.

Sri Suryanarayana Swami Utsavam:
On April 12, during the Hasta Nakshatra, devotees can participate in the Trichy Utsavam dedicated to Sri Suryanarayana Swami at 5:00 PM.

Mandala Kalam at Sabarimala

  Mandala kalam is celebrated in Sabarimala temple for 41 days. It is also known as Mandala Masam and it is the main pilgrimage of Sabarimala Temple. It  Begins on the first day of the ‘Vrishchikam’ Masam and ends on the eleventh day of the ‘Dhanu’ Masam as per the Malayalam calendar. In these days devotees from all corners of the world, throng the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple. Lord Ayyappa meditated at this place after killing the demon named ‘Mahishi’. During this period devotees observe strict austerity. People from any religion can visit the Sabarimala Temple as there is no discrimination of caste or creed. However female devotees aged between 10-50 years are prohibited from visiting the Sabarimala Temple during the Mandala Kalam period.   The online quota details of different formats of Darshan and accommodation for the month of September as follows. TTD will release the online quota of Srivari Arjitha Seva tickets for the month of September on June 18 at 10AM through its official website. Devotees can register online for the electronic dip for these seva tickets until 10 AM of June 20. Those selected in the lucky dip must complete payment by 12 noon between June 20 and 22 to confirm their tickets. Tickets for Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva will be available on June 21 at 10AM. The Virtual Sevas and their corresponding Darshan slots for the month of September will be released on June 21 at 3 PM. The Angapradakshinam tokens will be released on June 23 at 10 AM.
