Sri Padmavati Srinivasa Parinayotsavam 2025 - Tirumala
The divine wedding of Sridevi, Bhudevi, and Sri Malayappa Swamy, celebrated as the Sri Padmavati Srinivasa Parinayotsavam, is a celestial event steeped in spiritual grandeur and unmatched devotion. Held annually at the Parinayotsava Mandapam in the Narayangiri Gardens, the event this year will take place from May 06 to May 08, 2025.
The Three-Day
Celebrations
This magnificent festival
beautifully symbolizes the union of divinity and prosperity, witnessed through
three sacred processions:
- Day 1:
Sri Malayappa Swamy graces the event on the Gajavahanam (Elephant
Vehicle), symbolizing majesty and strength.
- Day 2:
The Lord is seated on the Aswa Vahanam (Horse Vehicle),
representing valor and nobility.
- Day 3:
The grand finale sees the deity on the Garuda Vahanam (Eagle
Vehicle), signifying divine power and ultimate protection.
A Pause in Other Rituals
To accommodate the
grandeur of the Parinayotsavam, TTD has cancelled the Arjita
Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on these three days.
A Celebration Rooted in
Ancient Tradition
According to the Puranas,
this celestial union has its origins around five thousand years ago, during the
early days of the Kali Yuga, when Sri Maha Vishnu descended to
earth as Sri Venkateswara from Vaikuntha. This divine incarnation
continues to be celebrated with reverence through the ages.
The festival is
meticulously organized by TTD each year, coinciding with Vaisakha
Shuddha Dashami Tithi, blending tradition, devotion, and cultural splendor.
