February 2025: Peta Utsavam of Tirupati Sri Kodanda Rama Temple

 

The Peta Utsavam of Sri Kodandarama Swamy in Tirupati will be celebrated on February 13.

On the auspicious occasion of Magha Pournami, it is customary to take the ceremonial idols of Kodanda Rama Swamy along with Sri Seethalakshmana in a procession to Kupchandrapeta village.

At 6 am, the Utsavamurti of Swami and Ammavarlu leaves the temple in a procession and reach Kupuchandrapet, 8 km from Tirupati.  Snapana Tirumanjanam and Asthanam will be held there from 10 am to 11.30 am. 

After that, Unjalseva from 4 to 5 pm, Gramotsavam from 5 pm to 9 pm will be observed and later the utsavarulu reaches back to the temple.
