Tirumala Pournami Garuda Seva Dates 2025

 

Garuda, the divine vehicle of Lord Vishnu, holds immense significance in Tirumala. Among the various sevas performed at Lord Venkateswara Temple, the Garuda Seva is particularly revered.

During the annual Brahmotsavams, the fifth day is marked by this grand procession. Lord Venkateswara graces the magnificent Garuda Vahana, a moment that draws over 5 lakh devotees to Tirumala. This day is a reflection of the devotees’ unwavering faith and celebrates the enduring bond between Lord Vishnu and his celestial vahana.

In addition to the Brahmotsavams, the Pournami (Full Moon) Garuda Seva offers devotees another opportunity to witness Lord Malayappa Swamy, the processional deity, riding the majestic Garuda Vahana. On the full moon day of every month, Lord Malayappa Swamy blesses devotees between 7 PM and 9 PM with this sacred procession.
