Tirupati Govindaraja Temple: Sri Thirumangai Alwar Sattumora on December 13

The Sattumora of Sri Thirumangai Alwar will be held on December 13 at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati.

Sri Thirumangai Alwar Utsavam is being observed in this temple from December 4 onwards.

On the occasion, on December 13 at 5.30 pm, Sridevi and Bhudevi along with Sri Govindaraja Swamy utsava murthies will visit the devotees along the streets to offer blessings.

Sri Thirumangai Alwar, the last in the line of Alwars is believed to be the incarnation of the divine Bow of Sri Maha Vishnu, the Sarangi.

It is said that Sri Tirumangai Alwar alone had the privilege of visiting the one hundred and six divine Sri Vaishnava Divya Desams located at different places on the earth.  

He sang more than a thousand Pasurams glorifying the mightiness of Srivaru.
