Sri Ganga Jatara Dates 2025 - Tirupati

Tirupati Ganga Jatara is celebrated in Tataiahgunta Gangamma Temple located on the east side of Tirupati city.

She is the grama devata of Tirupati City

The Jatara takes place every year in the second week of May

She is considered as sister of Lord Venkateswara Swamy.

Ganga Jatara, the folk festival of Tirupati, begins with the formal Chatimpu (announcement) around midnight on Tuesday.

 This year Jatara will commence on May 06.

Mandala Kalam at Sabarimala

  Mandala kalam is celebrated in Sabarimala temple for 41 days. It is also known as Mandala Masam and it is the main pilgrimage of Sabarimala Temple. It  Begins on the first day of the ‘Vrishchikam’ Masam and ends on the eleventh day of the ‘Dhanu’ Masam as per the Malayalam calendar. In these days devotees from all corners of the world, throng the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple. Lord Ayyappa meditated at this place after killing the demon named ‘Mahishi’. During this period devotees observe strict austerity. People from any religion can visit the Sabarimala Temple as there is no discrimination of caste or creed.   The online quota details of different formats of Darshan and accommodation for the month of September as follows. TTD will release the online quota of Srivari Arjitha Seva tickets for the month of September on June 18 at 10AM through its official website. Devotees can register online for the electronic dip for these seva tickets until 10 AM of June 20. Those selected in the lucky dip must complete payment by 12 noon between June 20 and 22 to confirm their tickets. Tickets for Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva will be available on June 21 at 10AM. The Virtual Sevas and their corresponding Darshan slots for the month of September will be released on June 21 at 3 PM. The Angapradakshinam tokens will be released on June 23 at 10 AM.
