Tirumala Tirupati Brahmotsavam Dates 2024

 

Tirumala Brahmotsavam is an annual festival at  Lord Venkateswara Temple that is celebrated for nine days in September and October.

In 2024, Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy Brahmotsavams will be celebrated from October 04 to  October 12. Popular stories trace the origin of this celebration to Brahma, the creator God, who first conducted this festival in Sri Balaji at Tirupati. Brahma worshiped Sri Balaji on the banks of the holy Pushkarini in Tirupati as a way to thank the Lord for protecting mankind. Hence, this utsava bears his name as “Brahmotsavam,” which means “Brahma’s Utsavam.”

Sri Rangam Temple Vaikunta Ekadasi Utsavam 2025 Dates

This is one of the most important festivals celebrated in the temple. It is celebrated for 21 days the first 10 days are ‘Pagal pathu’ Ustavams and the next ten days are ‘ra Pathu’ Ustavams. January 2025: Vaikunta Ekadasi at TTD Local Temples

  The outside temples under the umbrella of TTD are gearing up for the Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Dwadasi festivities on January 10 and 11, respectively. Special festivities will be performed on these two days at the ancient Soumyanatha Swamy temple at Nandalur, Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy at Avulapalle in Somala Mandal of Chittoor, and a similar one at Borragmanda in Sadum Mandal of Chittoor. Also, at the Sri Konetiraya Swamy temple of Keelapatla, special festivities will be performed.   Garuda is the Vahana of Lord Vishnu. In Tirumala, every year on the fifth day of Brahmotsavams garuda Seva is performed. Nearly more than 5 lakh devotees visit Tirumala on this day.
